Xiaomi Mi A1 Dual Camera Sample Image

Xiaomi Mi A1 is a Android One phone powered by google and created by Xiomi. It is one of the best midrange phone comes with a better dual camera setup than others. Here I will provide some Xiomi Mi A1 Dual Camera Sample Image which I shot inside my office campus, so that you can decide whether you should go for this budget beast or not.

History of Dual Camera:

Mobile photography has become significantly popular especially after iPhone7 dual lenses, although this was not the first phone which had dual camera setup. It was the HTC One M8 that first introduced dual lens setup to the world and it was trying to do something different. The HTC One M8 was launched back in April 2014 and very much used both sensors in the same way those modern Smartphone cameras does.

Android One Recently I had my first hands-on experience with Dual Lens camera with MI A1. It’s not a flagship device with best of optics but yes it does provide you one of the best dual camera setup in mid range or upper mid range segment. It works amazingly well with enough lights and does ok kind of job in low light.

Android One MI A1 Dual Camera setup:

The Mi A1 has two 12MP sensors at the back, the first is a wide-angle lens with 1.25-micron pixels and aperture is f/2.2, and the latter is a telephoto having f/2.6 lens with 1.1-micron pixels that offers lossless 2x optical zoom. Photos shot in daylight have plenty of details, but those taken in low-light conditions tend to be very noisy n shaky. The 5MP front shooter is similarly decent for taking selfies. The camera on the MI A1 isn’t groundbreaking, but it is plenty capable considering the price point. None of the camera has image stabilization so you need table hands or tripod to click picture where light is not enough. The portrait mode is one of the best I have used in a phone, although that is true only when you are clicking photos in good light. But at least the algorithm/software that determine the edges of the person and figure out areas to blur are good. 70-75% of times you will get amazing portrait shots until unless subject has many tiny edges spreading everywhere.
